Does It Offend You, Yeah? - We Are The Dead
New "Does It Offend You, Yeah?"! They show an indie charm for the first few seconds, but quickly sink into the electro stomp that we love them for. Watch the video for new song "We Are The Dead" here. If you feel like remixing it, everything you need is here.

Egyptian Hip Hop - Middle Name Period

Egyptian Hip Hop aren't actually Egyptian, and they don't rap. Must say, cool name though! Their music is full of stabbing synths, and rhythmically it's all over the place. Imagine 808 State's younger sister, on E. They're impossible to categorize. Download their new song "Middle Name Period", which is going to be on their upcoming EP "Some Reptiles Grew Wings", here.

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs

After the dark, oppressive tones of "Neon Bible", Butler and co. return with something most unexpected - a pop album. At least, what a think a good modern pop album should sound like. Brave, emotive lyrics. Diverse instrumentation. Showing their influences, but looking forward all the time. The Suburbs is thought provoking, it demands attention from the listener. Tracks like "Empty Room" and "Month of May" are full of immediacy that drags the listener in, but are contrasted by grand, epic songs like "Ready to Start" and "Suburban Warfare" and minor-heavy tunes like "Rococo" and "Sprawl (Flatland). Quite simply, a must have album, powerful, intellectual and interesting. A classic in years to come.

Electricity In Our Homes - Hooves

Electricity In Our Homes keep pushing their sound. Tribal rhythms, artful repetition, they sound like the Fire Engines covering Can. In other words, their new EP, "We Agree Completely", is a complete winner in my books. Modern post-punk at it's best. Can't wait to hear more from these guys. Listen to and download "Hooves" here.
